Hello / Aloha / Ni Hao / Marhabaan / Bonjour

I’m Ataf Fazledin Ahamed, a 24-year-old Software Engineer living in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I’m working as a Secure Software Developer at OpenRefactory, Inc. At OpenRefactory, I’m working in Project Alpha Omega by Open Source Security Foundation . You can find a list of my bug fixes here .

My academic journey led me to BUET, where I studied Computer Science & Engineering. During my BUET days, I was also involved in some extracurricular activities. I served as the President of @buetedc and as the VP of @buetsec .

I also took part in business case competitions, hackathons, and CTFs. My key interests are computer security, cloud computing, and software development. I like to share my knowledge & experience through writings - most of which you’ll find in this website. Traveling is a passion of mine, and I’ve been lucky enough to visit quite a few countries. I also take some time off to dive into graphic designing- I like minimal, clean design, with an abstract touch.

Startups also interest me. I believe they have the potential to create value in unique ways and can be a great place to learn. You know there goes a saying- “Move fast and break things”. That’s probably why I’m working at one right now – chasing the startup energy and climbing the steep learning curve.
